Infrared Oven Retrofits
Infrared oven retrofits are used where an existing convection oven
is unable to cure products properly due to increased production demands
or change in coatings, (liquid to powder etc.).
Infrared emitters are installed ahead of the convection oven enclosure.
This greatly accelerates cure, leaving the convection section free to soak
the coating at temperature for final cure. Total cure time is reduced,
resulting in increased production rates and/or full cure of coatings.
Infrared oven retrofits can replace a portion or all of the existing convection
oven enclosure, converting the convection oven to infrared. This can increase production, shorten enclosure length, and save energy.
Catalytic infrared oven retrofits can be supplied with new sensors,
controls and operator interface if needed.
