Powder Coat Oven Systems

Catalytic provides practical proven powder coat oven
solutions for OEMs and job shops.

Our booster ovens are a cost-effective way to increase production capacity, or production speed, often without taking up additional floor space.  They are an excellent alternative for companies who need to maintain highest uniformity of powder distribution and highest quality coating cure.

Catalytic powder coat booster ovens allow convection ovens to work more efficiently, because part surface and coating are at optimum temperature when they enter the convection stage. Because this is true, booster ovens provide an important advantage that is directly related to the quality of the cured finish: How?

Parts that enter a convection oven “cold” heat gradually, moving through 100°, 200°, and 300° to the set cure temperature of 400° or 425°, depending on the coating formula. Paints begin to “flow” at approximately 300°, so the risk of a cosmetic defect is always higher.  Booster ovens heat the powder, and the substrate, quickly – there’s no gradual ascent in temperature – so there's far less chance for the finish
to develop a flaw.

Catalytic sales engineers and tech support specialists can show you how a powder coat oven "booster" can save you time, and energy expense, while improving quality through greater film uniformity and fewer finish defects.
