Powder Coat Oven Systems

Catalytic engineers and manufactures high quality powder coat oven solutions for metal and MDF components of all sizes and geometries.

Our "booster" powder coat oven can substantially enhance the production capacity of your convection oven. It can also allow you to accelerate line speed, usually wihtout increasing the total system footprint. It is an excellent alternative where the need need for highly uniform powder distribution and highest quality film cure.

Catalytic's booster ovens allows convection systems to work more efficiently, because the powder and the surface of the part are both at optimum temperature as they enter the convection chamber.

Parts that enter a convection oven "cold" move gradually to the powder's "set" temperature - generally 400 or 425. Powder starts to "flow" at about 300, so this creates the risk of a film defect. Conversely, a  booster powder coat oven rapidly heats the powder and the substrate. There’s no gradual ascent in temperature, and therfore far less chance for the finish to develop imperfections.

Catalytic sales engineers can show you how a powder coat oven "booster" can streamline production time, reduce energy use, and improve product quality through greater film uniformity and reduced film defects.
