Industrial Oven Systems

Catalytic Industrial Systems manufactures catalytic industrial oven systems,
infrared heating systems and convection cure ovens that meet the most
popular requirements
of buyers and specifiers of process heating systems.

Catalytic Has the Most Extensive
Experience with These 5 Main Infrared
Industrial Oven Types

INFRARED CURE OVENS
Infrared cure ovens have quick cure cycles, allowing system size to be
minimized. The result is an oven that has a smaller footprint than
a conventional convection oven. MORE

COMBINATION INFRARED / CONVECTION OVEN
Industrial oven systems that are "combination" type use infrared energy
to ramp-up product temperatures prior to a convection “soak” stage,
where finish curing or drying is completed.

Infrared emitters can be retrofitted inside an existing convection oven to
increase production within restricted spaces. Or, a combination system can
be engineered to accommodate a broad range of part sizes and shapes.
MORE

POWDER GEL/ RAMP-UP OVEN
A ramp-up industrial oven sets or “gels” the powder coating by accelerated
temperature rise, to prevent powder loss and reduce the soak time needed
for curing. MORE

DRYING OVENS
A drying oven is used after cleaning or pretreatment, prior to the
application of paints, powder coating, adhesives or inks. MORE

CONVECTION OVENS
A convection industrial oven is an economical choice if floor space and/or
production levels are not major considerations. A convection oven is
practical where numerous part sizes, configurations and material
thicknesses are processed simultaneously. MORE

Infrared Oven Retrofits

When an existing industrial oven is unable to cure products properly due
to increased production demands or change in coatings chemistry, an infrared
retrofit is a cost-effective alternative to a new system.

Infrared oven retrofits can replace a portion or all of the existing convection
oven enclosure, converting the convection oven to infrared. This can increase production, shorten enclosure length, and save energy.

Catalytic infrared oven retrofits can be supplied with new sensors,
controls and operator interface if needed.
